About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a CITMA-qualified Trademark Paralegal to join a highly respected intellectual property law firm in London. This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility of two days in the office and three days working remotely. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the firm’s trademark attorneys, handling a broad range of trademark-related matters across various jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
Managing trademark portfolios, including UK, EU, and international filings
Preparing, filing, and prosecuting trademark applications
Conducting clearance searches and drafting reports
Handling trademark renewals, assignments, and oppositions
Managing deadlines and ensuring compliance with official requirements
Liaising with clients, attorneys, and international agents
Assisting with contentious trademark matters, including oppositions and cancellations
Conducting legal research and preparing case summaries
Maintaining up-to-date records using specialist IP case management systems
About You
To be successful in this role, you should have:
CITMA Paralegal qualification (essential)
Proven experience working in a trademark paralegal role within a reputable firm
Strong knowledge of UKIPO, EUIPO, and WIPO procedures
Excellent organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in IP management systems and Microsoft Office
