Role: Senior Associate (7+ PQE)

Seeking a senior-level (7+ years PQE) solicitor with expertise in property asset management to join an established team in a top 20 international law firm. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with proven supervisory experience and a deep understanding of delivering excellent client service to a client with a large property portfolio. You will play a key role in guiding legal and strategic operations, collaborating with colleagues in property and leadership to build strong relationships and support the client's growth.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the lead legal advisor on asset management for a major client with an extensive property portfolio.
- Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations.
- Lead the negotiation, drafting, and oversight of leases, licenses, variations, surrenders, extensions, consents, and related agreements.
- Proactively manage legal risks, particularly those relevant to the client’s industry.
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of legal professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Act as the primary legal point of contact for the client and internal teams, providing insights and solutions aligned with the client’s strategic goals.
Requirements:
- Qualified Lawyer with a minimum of 7+ years’ PQE, ideally in a busy asset management environment.
- Extensive experience in asset management, preferably with knowledge of industry-specific needs.
- Proven experience managing complex asset management portfolios or large client accounts.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in legal technology platforms and digital tools for portfolio management, performance tracking, and compliance.
