Hours: Monday-Thursday 09:00-17:30, Friday 09:00-17:00

Office: 3 days a week in, 1 day working from home
About the Role:
This role will be working for a Legal 500 law firm, who offer legal advice to UK and International businesses as well as individuals and families. They are seeking a skilled Risk and Compliance Manager to oversee and enhance their firm's compliance and risk management programs.
This role involves close collaboration with the Finance Director, Compliance Board, and key compliance officers. The successful candidate will manage a range of compliance activities, including risk assessments, staff training, and adherence to legal standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee internal risk and compliance functions.
- Liaise with Compliance Officers on delegated tasks.
- Manage compliance issues in line with SRA and FCA models.
- Assist staff with conduct and AML queries.
- Handle complaints and claims risk management.
- Maintain compliance records and reporting.
- Lead compliance training and new starter sessions.
- Conduct compliance audits and policy reviews.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in risk and compliance within legal.
- Relevant risk or compliance qualifications.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to simplify and explain complex legal principles.
- Up-to-date knowledge of legal risk and compliance requirements.
