My client, a leading law firm based in Birmingham, are looking for an experienced Receptionist / AV Assistant to join their team.

 

The Role

 

As a Receptionist / AV Assistant, you'll be at the heart of operations.

 

  • Provide a top-notch reception service to clients, Partners, and employees
  • Keep the Reception area tidy and professional
  • Meet and greet clients and visitors warmly
  • Handle incoming calls, redirecting or taking messages as needed
  • Set up telephone and conference calls, along with AV facilities
  • Ensure meeting rooms and client kitchen are clean and ready
  • Assist in organising marketing events, occasionally outside regular hours
  • Make travel arrangements and bookings
  • Manage and maintain AV equipment, providing support for meetings and events
  • Liaise with the IT team for equipment updates and training team members on AV use

 

The Candidate

  • Exceptional technical skills with PCs, laptops, and online meeting platforms
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Flexible, dedicated, and passionate
  • Strong attention to detail and client focus
  • Good computer skills, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Professional appearance and demeanour
