The Projects, Development & Construction Team is renowned for its expertise in various sectors, including real estate, housing, property investment, and sustainability. They are currently seeking a Senior Associate with a focus on non-contentious construction law to enhance their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse range of non-contentious construction matters, including negotiating and drafting contracts.
  • Oversee and support junior team members while managing files and workloads effectively.
  • Collaborate with clients on procurement and contracting strategies to mitigate risks and avoid disputes.
  • Engage in business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the team.
  • Provide expert advice on standard form and bespoke contracts, including JCT, NEC, and FIDIC.

Essential Criteria:

  • At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in non-contentious construction law.
  • Proficient in handling standard form contracts and bespoke arrangements.
  • Strong organisational skills and a proven ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to mentor junior colleagues.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience in investor or housing and accommodation sectors is preferred.
  • A proactive attitude towards professional development and sector knowledge.
