My client, a top UK law firm, is actively recruiting for a professional and experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join them on a permanent basis in London - working as their new Real Estate & Projects Paralegal (with a focus on Plot Sales).
This Real Estate & Projects team is at the heart of the firm, you'll be working with a team of 18 dedicated Partners on a wide variety of transactions with a broad range of clients.
As the successful Paralegal, you'll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Managing your own caseload of high volume property sales, handling shared ownership and outright sales
- Dealing with all aspects of post completion
- Carrying out complex legal research
- Setting up and maintaining online document rooms
- Providing clients with either weekly or monthly progress reports
- Providing additional support and assistance to Fee-Earners within the team when required
- Completing Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) returns
- Dealing with acquisitions and disposal of residential properties

To be considered for this Paralegal opportunity, you'll need to have/be the following:
- Be educated to degree legal (LLB/GDL minimum)
- Have a minimum of 6 months experience in Plot Sales as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant
- Ideally, have experience of dealing with developers and/or housing associations
- Be able to commute to the London office at least 3 days a week
