The firm is recognized as a leader in key areas including banking, commercial litigation, corporate, employment, and real estate, with a particular focus on providing legal services to social housing providers and private developers.


Role Overview:

The firm is looking for a driven and ambitious non-contentious construction solicitor with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join its growing construction team. The successful candidate will be working on a variety of high-profile projects, with a focus on providing legal advice on construction contracts, development agreements, and project management.


Key Responsibilities: 

- Leading on complex non-contentious construction matters, including drafting and negotiating construction contracts and security documents.

- Advising clients on construction procurement methods, as well as compliance with recent changes in building and fire safety laws.

- Collaborating with other departments, including planning, insurance, and property, to provide holistic legal support to clients.

- Mentoring junior solicitors and contributing to the firm's training and development initiatives.


Skills and Requirements:

- Minimum of 4 years PQE in non-contentious construction law, with a strong understanding of UK construction contracts (JCT, NEC, etc.).

- Excellent client relationship management and a proactive approach to business development.

- A strong academic background and a proven ability to handle complex legal issues in a commercial context.
