Role: MLS Lawyer (3-5 PQE) – Asset Management

I’m excited to be partnering with a Top 20 Law Firm to recruit for an exceptional opportunity within their Managed Legal Services (MLS) team. They’re looking for a talented MLS Lawyer (3–5 years PQE) with expertise in asset management to join their Property group.
This role offers a unique chance to work within a dedicated client team, managing a diverse portfolio of assets while delivering top-tier legal service.
The Role
As an MLS Lawyer, you’ll play a pivotal role in providing legal and commercial solutions for clients, ensuring compliance and efficiency across a wide range of asset management matters. Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating asset management documents such as leases, licences, surrenders, variations, and consents.
- Handling lease grants, renewals, assignments, terminations, and related transactions to the highest standard.
- Ensuring compliance with regulations and codes of practice for the client’s portfolio.
- Collaborating closely with the client’s in-house legal, estates, and operational teams to provide a seamless and tailored service.
- Offering clear, concise advice on legal and commercial strategies tailored to the client’s portfolio.
What You’ll Need
- Qualified solicitor with 3–5 years’ PQE in English law, ideally within a busy asset management team.
- Proven expertise in asset management, particularly lease negotiations, renewals, surrenders, and handling large property portfolios.
- Strong understanding of the legal and commercial challenges specific to asset management.
- An interest in leveraging legal technology to enhance service delivery.
- Bonus: Experience in the food and beverage sector.
