A global insurer is looking for a Legal Counsel with a background in insurance litigation (defendant-side) to support its international legal team. You'll focus on complex disputes, coverage issues, regulatory matters and drafting policy wordings across global specialty lines.
Key Highlights:
Handle contentious (non-claimant) matters across insurance sectors
Draft and review policy wordings across specialty lines
Work on ECO claims, investigations, and regulatory matters
Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and compliance teams
Exposure to Lloyd’s market and international business
You’ll bring:
4+ PQE, qualified in England & Wales
Experience from private practice (e.g., Clyde & Co, Kennedys, WFW) or in-house
Insurance litigation background (defendant) – ideally marine, energy, or reinsurance
Wordings experience essential
Ability to work on-site 3 days per week
