My client, a top international law firm, is actively recruiting for an experienced Information Governance professional to join them on a permanent basis - working as their Information Governance Specialist/Records Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced InfoGov professional to join and lead a small team, situated in their wider Risk & Compliance department. You'll be working closely with the Head of Risk & Compliance/General Counsel and will be responsible for a wide range of duties.
As the successful Information Governance Specialist, you'll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Identifying and implementing process improvements within Information Governance/Records Management
- Promoting Information Governance services in the London office
- Developing and maintaining an Information Governance programme, including physical and electronic records
- Providing specialist advice to the senior management team
- Supporting with Data Protection projects
- Ensuring workload and workflow is monitored within the InfoGov team
- Creating a London Records Management/Info Gov budget in conjunction with the Head of R&C

To be considered for this opportunity, you'll need to have/be the following:
- Have extensive Information Governance experience (ideally within legal but will look at professional services)
- Be educated to degree level
- Ideally, have an Information Governance or Records Management qualification/accreditation
- Have the ability to lead a team
