My client, an award-winning US law firm, is actively seeking an experienced and professional Qualified Lawyer to join them on a 12 month basis in London – working as their new Part-Time In-House Counsel.
This firm has offices across the US and Europe – working on a wide range of matters within Competition, Commercial, Technology and Environmental Law.
As the successful In-House Counsel, you’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts on behalf of the firm
- Working closely with the Knowledge, Management and Operations team to review/design/maintain policies and procedures
- Supporting the firm’s conflicts and compliance teams in relation to legal, regulatory and compliance issues that may arise
- Staying up to date with changes to laws, rules and regulations
- Communicating with third-party bodies such as external Counsel and coordinating the firm’s annual PII

To be considered for this opportunity, you’ll need to have/be the following:
- Be a Qualified Lawyer (England & Wales), ideally 5+ PQE
- Have proven working knowledge of contract, competition, data protection law and litigation procedure
- Be able to identify and assess legal, regulatory and compliance risks
- Have strong legal drafting skills
- Be open and committed to a 12m FTC
