We are partnered with a global law firm with offices throughout the US, middle east and Europe. They are recruiting for an EA to support on a 12-month FTC with the likelihood to become a permanent hire.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage fee earners’ calendars and inboxes.
- Coordinate complex travel arrangements, including transportation, accommodation, and expenses.
- Expert knowledge of managing meetings across multiple time zones and handling intricate diaries is essential.
- Prepare and compile documents for meetings.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail efficiently.
- Monitor and manage emails, forwarding or taking action as needed.
- Assist with new client and matter openings, including KYC and AML processes.
- Utilize global resource hubs.
- Handle internal and client calls professionally, taking accurate messages and providing assistance where necessary.
- Greet visitors with confidence and professionalism.
- Keep client contact details updated.
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets.
- Draft simple correspondence.
- Attend training and EA meetings to stay informed on firm procedures and add value.
- Support the team by assisting colleagues during busy periods and covering absences.
Billing:
- Assist in the billing process using 3E, including bill preparation, financial edits, and cost tracking.
- Record time for fee earners when needed.
- Communicate with clients or co-counsel regarding fees, invoices, and billing inquiries.
- Maintain client-specific rates and billing requirements.
Key Skills, Attributes, and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths.
- At least 4 years of EA experience in a corporate/professional services environment, ideally in a legal setting.
- Strong EA skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capable of managing pressure and conflicting deadlines.
- A proactive and enthusiastic team player.
- Commercial awareness.
- Interest in Energy & Natural Resources is desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook), with good knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel.
- Typing speed of at least 60 wpm.
- Familiarity with iManage and 3E systems.
