Role: Employment Solicitor

The Firm
My client is a well-established law firm with a strong reputation for providing high-quality legal advice to a diverse range of clients. Their Employment team is a close-knit group of experienced lawyers who are passionate about delivering exceptional client service. The successful candidate will have 2-4 years' PQE and a strong background in employment law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising and representing clients on a wide range of employment law matters, including:
- Contracts of employment
- Disciplinary and grievance procedures
- Redundancies
- Discrimination claims
- Settlement agreements
- Managing a varied caseload of employment tribunal claims
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents, such as contracts of employment, settlement agreements, and letters of claim
- Conducting legal research and keeping up to date with developments in employment law
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
- Working closely with the team to ensure the smooth running of the department
Skills and Experience:
- 2-4 years' PQE in employment law
- Excellent legal knowledge and technical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
- A team player with a positive attitude
