A top firm are seeking a Corporate Real Estate Senior Associate to join their expanding Corporate Real Estate and Private Capital team. This role is pivotal in our strategic focus on corporate real estate, and it offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse and complex transactions within the sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the sale and purchase of companies, unit trusts, and other entities with interests in real estate investments and developments, including operating businesses with significant real estate interests.
- Manage joint ventures and co-investment arrangements.
- Oversee public and private fundraisings.
- Draft and negotiate management agreements, promote arrangements, Management Incentive Plans, and other incentivization arrangements.
- Focus particularly on the real estate, hospitality, hotel management, and private wealth sectors.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Strong knowledge of the real estate sector, particularly in hospitality and hotel management agreements and franchising.
- Excellent commercial acumen and strong technical drafting skills.
- Demonstrated ability to take on principal associate responsibilities in transactions.
- Experience supervising and mentoring trainees and junior lawyers.
- Focused on business development and building and maintaining client relationships.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
