A growing international law firm are seeking an experienced Commercial Lawyer (5+ years’ PQE) to join their Group Commercial Legal Services team within the General Counsel’s Office. Responsibilities:
- Crafting and negotiating strategic commercial contracts that drive the firm’s success.
- Partnering with advanced delivery teams to design, deliver, and negotiate bespoke client agreements.
- Developing standard agreements for new client-facing solutions and services.
- Advising on contracts that integrate new technologies, including drafting licensing agreements and ensuring compliance with global risk policies.
- Providing commercial contracting support for professional services and solutions, including panel terms, client agreements, and third-party contracts.
- Offering expert guidance on risk management, ensuring our services meet the highest standards.
- Delivering training and updates to teams on developments impacting our legal services.
- Driving key projects, ensuring alignment with legal developments and risk policies.
Requirements:
- A qualified solicitor with 5+ years’ post-qualification experience.
- Proven expertise in commercial client agreements, particularly within technology and AI.
- Strong knowledge of intellectual property rights, data protection, confidentiality, and information security.
- Experience with contracts related to licensing, SaaS, PaaS, managed services, and more is a plus.
- A pragmatic and commercial mindset, with the ability to manage tight deadlines and collaborate effectively.
