My client, a top UK law firm, is actively recruiting for an experienced Risk & Compliance professional to join them on a permanent basis in their London office – working as their new Client Onboarding Analyst.
This role will enable you to be the first point of contact for queries from staff and Fee-Earners and provide support to the wider Risk & Compliance Team. This team provides advice on professional standards, regulatory compliance and risk management.
As the successful Client Onboarding Analyst, you’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Reviewing and processing client and matter documentation
- Conducting client due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD)
- Drafting appropriate CDD requests for Fee-Earners
- Ensuring all AML documentation and records are kept up to date
- Carrying out KYC and analysing documents provided by clients
- Carrying out online searches to identify exposed person(s) (PEP)
- Conducting conflicts searches for all potential, new and existing clients and matters
- Ensuring appropriate information barriers are created
- Manage the AML and general inbox
- Assisting the Risk & Compliance Manager with Practice Certificate renewals and ad-hoc projects
- Provide general Risk & Compliance support to the wider team

To be considered for this Client Onboarding Analyst opportunity, you’ll need to have/be the following:
- Ideally, be degree educated
- Have a minimum of TWO years experience in a Risk & Compliance position (from a law firm environment – ESSENTIAL)
- Want to have a long-term career within Risk & Compliance
- Be able to work under pressure
- Be able to commute to the London office a minimum of three days a week
