Marketing and Business Development Executive (10-Month FTC)

We’re looking for a Marketing and Business Development Executive to join a very prestigious and well-known international law firm on a 10-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover) at their offices in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Reporting to the Senior Business Development Manager in Dubai, you’ll collaborate closely with partners, lawyers, and business support teams across Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and the Middle East to bring the firm’s ambitious marketing and business development plans to life.
What You’ll Do
- Gain insights into the industries the firm serves to strategically support growth initiatives.
- Influence and guide partners, while leading the execution of fresh ideas and established marketing plans.
- Deliver standout events and campaigns - Plan, manage, and attend events and conferences as part of multi-channel marketing strategies.
- Develop and promote engaging materials in line with the firms’ house style, leveraging both traditional and digital platforms.
- Shape and execute social media strategies that amplify the firms’ presence across key channels.
- Prepare and coordinate legal directory entries, as well as client-focused pitches and bids.
- Manage budgets, reports, diaries, travel, and expenses to ensure smooth operations.
Experience Required
- At least two years in marketing, business development, or a similar role in a professional services or B2B environment.
- Strong IT and digital media expertise, with a keen interest in using innovative tools to make an impact.
- A degree in marketing, business, or equivalent (desirable but not essential).
- Willingness to travel regionally and work outside standard office hours, especially during events.
