My client, a specialist disputes law firm, is actively recruiting for a Paralegal to join them on a 12 month fixed-term contract basis – working as their new Business Crime Paralegal.
This role sits in their ‘top tier’ department, with the Lawyers specialising in areas such as AML, bribery and corruption, commercial and trust litigation, corporate investigations, cross-border issues, fraud, tax and more. The firm is seeking an experienced Paralegal to work on a large-scale case within their Business Crime department.
As the successful Business Crime Paralegal, you’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Managing large quantities of documents (incoming new material and historical documents)
- Producing hard copy bundles
- Conducting extensive legal search
- Reviewing and analysing case materials
- Conducting document review tasks when required
- Attending and taking notes at client meetings, court and during conference calls

To be considered for this Business Crime Paralegal position, you’ll need to have/be the following:
- Have a completed law degree (LLB/GDL) and ideally a completed (or be studying) LPC
- Be familiar with eDisclosure platforms (for example, Relativity)
- Have at least 12 months previous Contentious/Criminal Paralegal experience (ideally in the context Litigation)
- Be proactive with a positive approach to work
- Have experience using legal databases, such as LexisNexis, Westlaw and Practical Law
