The Role
As an Associate in the Real Estate Litigation team, you will manage a varied caseload, advising a broad client base, including commercial landlords, investors, developers, and social housing providers.
Your work will focus on:
Commercial Landlord & Tenant Matters:
- 1954 Act lease renewals (contested and uncontested)
- Rent recovery and forfeiture
- Break notices and dilapidations
- Breach of covenant disputes
- Service charge disputes and tenant insolvency
Real Property Disputes:
- Rights of light
- Restrictive covenants and easements
- Nuisance claims
Telecoms & Fire Safety:
- Advising landowners on telecoms-related disputes
- Fire safety obligations and service charge issues
You will also have the opportunity to gain experience in:
- Disputes relating to property transactions, development agreements, and forward funding.
- Planning disputes and complex transactional support.
The Candidate
- 2-4 PQE with strong real estate litigation experience.
